equip with a beach bar and grill known as the salty dog, the key is the most popular beach in mackenzie, right below pier one. the best place to be in the evening. the back-to-school event is held here.

home of the mayor's office, and built in the 1800's, the town hall is the oldest building in mackenzie. all official town meetings take place here.

the fact that you can't find a grocery store for miles around, isn't necessarily a bad thing, the high-quality huckabee market is relied on by the entirety of the town to supply food. it features a variety of fresh farm grown produce, home-made bread, and farm-fresh dairy, as well as many ethnic booth's, such as indian, italian, spanish, brazilian and thai.

mackenzie square is home of the infamous town clock tower, surrounded by a beautiful water fountain with available seating. featuring several different eateries, bakeries, as well as a variety of boutiques, the square functions 24 hours per day, 7 days a week.

also a new addition to the town, and built in late 2009, pressure is a dance club which admits only those over the age of seventeen. it is owned by the same businessman who built the local internet cafe.

exhale is a newer addition to mackenzie, built late in 2009. the cafe is a superior place to take a break, fend off the wind with a warm latte or coffee, or just settle down for a long afternoon date with your laptop.

during the evenings, the cafe sells hot desserts and features open mic performances from local residents.

as if there are not enough places to get an alcoholic beverage in mackenzie, the vandine bar was built. it is actually a white table cloth, formal dress bar. a romantic place to go on a date, pre-dinner.

overviewing the shore, the outdoor mall is another new asset to the town of mackenzie. open year round when weather permits. also features a full food court.

newly renovated with all the latest equipment, people from all over the east coast come to blue cross for various treatments. you'll be safe in the hands of this highly regarded facility.

the theater complex was rebuilt when it burnt to the ground in 1994. It is now your average pop but with only four screens. there are discount black and white showings priced at 1.99 on sunday nights.

for those of you brave souls in town who have a green thumb and aren't afraid to get down and dirty, the trails will hold much interest for you. there's a town legend passed down from generation to generation that the lake between the trails is haunted. most of us think it's a bunch of tales told to scare children, but..

located shore side in mackenzie, the foxwood yacht club is a popular place for the wealthiest and most elite locals in town. bi-weekly events are held here. no admission without membership.

newly reconditioned, this is the one and only train leading from mackenzie to the closest major city in jersey. the only issue is that this train runs one-way only. so you'll have to find a different source of transportation if you plan on returning to mackenzie. this MARTCO train is kept in supreme sanitary condition, and runs with a high-speed engine.

located in the heart of mackenzie's horse country, hunt’s end farm is minutes from the edge of center town. with rolling green acres, horse and rider are given the ability to trail for hours without end. hunt’s end is dedicated to providing top-quality care and training for each of its equine athletes.

a quiet, pleasant and not-so-crowded place to go tanning or swimming for the day. get out of your dorm and soak up some rays. the surf can get kind of wild, however--great for surfing, if you're into that sort of thing...
